Since “Meditator”s was created, I really didn’t feel up to creating larger work for a while. I was also preparing to move from Columbus, Ohio to St. Paul, MN in April 2017.
Instead I work on an even smaller scale.
I started creating art on paper as small as 5×7 inches, and 4×6 inches. I wanted to create items even smaller and generate an even more personal experience for the viewer.
I wanted customers to have something small and intricate, that they could proudly call their own “little mindfulness” or own “personal meditation”
Perhaps even small enough, a person could even own one of these images to help create their own shrine.
I wanted to create something affordable, where the customer didn’t feel intimidated by the price of art. I truly enjoy witnessing a customer picking pointed out a piece of my art and and say “that one”…
I can tell, it speaks an unspeakable language to them. I language of appreciation, care and compassion.
Every human being can appreciate art regardless of your background.
